Frustrated by the lack of a unified African digital platform, our founders sketched out Vannibel on a whiteboard in a small office in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The vision: one platform to shop, hire, build, and review — trusted by Africans.
We launched our private beta with the freelancer marketplace. Within 90 days, 500 users had signed up, 120 freelancers were verified, and the first projects were being completed on the platform.
We added the affiliate shopping marketplace (Amazon, Temu, Shopify) and launched the Vannibel Live Chat Widget — adopted by over 800 businesses in its first month. User base grew to 10,000+.
The Website Reviews feature helped thousands of Africans avoid online scams. Our in-house Build & Consult agency delivered 80+ projects. We crossed 20,000 users and expanded to 30 people across Nigeria and Ghana.
Vannibel now serves 30,000+ users across 15 African countries, has 850+ verified freelancers, 120+ agency-delivered projects, and 15,000+ community reviews. We're just getting started.
